2007 Fourth Annual Theatre Event
We'd like to say a HUGE thank you to DiAnn Sneed and her entire crew at San Pedro Playhouse, and all our volunteers, photographers, etc. The Playwrights had overnight to write the script. The actors and directors had all day to learn lines and blocking. The Tech Crew had one hour with each group to learn sound and light cues. And everyone was incredible. Thank you!!

I attended ASAP this past Saturday, it was my first. I enjoyed the event very much. The actors, directors and the playwrights of this event should be thoroughly praised for their creative efforts of creating very memorable performances in a 10 minute production. The definite highlights of the evening were "The Birthday Surprise" and "Packing Memories", very original and attentive keeping interest of the audience by not knowing what to expect next. The witches by far surpassed the audience expectations as far as taking an already hilarious plot/script by doing their job of creating these amusing characters with perfect comedic timing, reading and character choices. Bravo to them and bravo to all! | |||

I really enjoyed it - I'm continually blown away by the level of talent in this city, and so much of it was on display here. |

The idea of awards is a sound one, but given the nature of the process of writing and producing these plays, it's probably something that would have to be done at a later date (as it was with the 48 Hour Film Project). I don't know whether you'd have strictly audience awards, or whether you'd have judges, or some combination of both. But I like the idea of just recognizing all the hard work that made last night such a success. Again, thanks to everybody who took part!

| I enjoyed the show. I would have liked to see it as a contest... best script, best actor/actress. I though it was a success, hands down. Cheers! |

It was a night full of {beep}, meth addicts, Tibetan birthing chairs, Autism, red lace submissive slaves, creepy giggling clown heads and relationship issues....whew...that makes for one hell of an evening!!!! Thank you SATCO!!! |

| Thanks for a great day and night of TheatreASAP. It was fun! There was a great audience! I met new people, got to do an outlandish part and bowed down to a clown. What more could you ask for? Anna Gangai | ||||

These Brave Souls!! They don't know what part they will play, who their director is, what the script will be about or who wrote it. They will find out Saturday morning, rehearse all day, and go on stage that night. Come witness the result of this insanity on September 8.
